In order to prepare the report, an inspector must conduct a visual inspection of the house. The inspection process typically takes 3 to 4 hours to complete. The time required may vary due to additional factors such as size, age, and condition of the home. No dismantling or destructive testing is done during the course of the property inspection.

    When the inspection is complete, I will discuss any defects that were discovered during the inspection with you. I will let you know how serious any problem may be and discuss any safety concerns that I may have noticed. I will also discuss routine maintenance and answer any questions that you may have about the property.

      Owner/Inspector John Astl is an experienced home inspector and is a certified member of ASHI, and a FABI registered professional inspector. John is also a State of Florida certified windstorm migration surveyor and trained FEMA disastor housing inspector. Educated, John has received a Bachelors degree from the University of South Florida as well an Associate in Arts from Hillsborough Community College and also completed trade school at Kaplan professional real estate and inspection schools. John stays active and current in the filed of home inspection by taking continuing education classes throughout the year to keep his knowledge and skills sharp. John has passed all required national home inspection examinations and keeps his professional associations memberships and insurance current.
